Percy's guarantees at least two "weather" promotions, 1 in the Spring, and one in the Fall that offer free merchandise if a certain something occurs. The Spring promo is the temperature promo (if the temp hits 92º or higher on July 4th your purchase is free), and the Fall promo is the snow promo (if it snows 6" or more on Christmas Day your purchase is free). Sometimes we throw a sports promo in there too. Depends on the economy, sports teams being favorable, etc. We did a Celtics promo a few years back when the Celtics won the championship and everyone who bought TV's got them for merely the tax cost. It's been 2 years since the Mass State Government signed off on a "Tax Free Weekend" and fortunately for us, this year they have signed away on it. That's right, this weekend only, you can come in and buy whatever you want and the tax is on the state on a purchase of $2,500 and under. Sorry, no Ferrari's for Christmas this year.

Most business have 10% off, 20% off, even 50% off sales on items all the time...why is this weekend so huge? Percy's Big Weekend Events

Well it's been extremely hot in the Northeast for the past week and Air Conditioners are scarce in just about every store in Central Massachusetts.

Except Percy's!

We have a sign inside the front door by the Air Conditioners and it clearly states what we have and what's coming in on Monday. It's supposed to be close to 90's and HUMID all week next week again so now's the time to grab an A/C and keep cool.

NOBODY else has air conditioners that are between 5,000 BTU and 10,000 BTU that are priced right and in-stock.
